Every morning, from the moment we awake from our slumber, a hustle of activities rush to us like a pack of hungry wolves ready to devour its prey. And it isn't until dusk that they leave us alone once again. Such is the way of life for almost every working adult in Singapore, a nation ranked one of the highest among developed countries in terms of a population deprived of sleep.

What is the first thing you do when you wake up each morning? Do you look to God, at all the fullness of his glory, and say a little prayer in submission to His will; or do you succumb to the pressures and burdens of this world and hurry into each day? The psalmist was wise to "delight in the law of Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night"(Psalms 1:2). What will you do? The ball is in your court.
