and we had a SURPRISE birthday cake for Yue Seng... which he almost te**ed!!! awww....

Time Out!

This week's time out was held at Sean's house. Thank you Sean's family for the delicious fried bee hoon, curry chicken, drinks, snacks, and fruits. All of us enjoyed ourselves with games after games. It was comparable to Settlers or Minds Cafe. Haha. Simply shiok!

We had lotsa fun. Do you think a time out every week is good? Hmmm...

Moments like this make us wish the night could last forever...

Secondary School Cell on the 7th July!

What did we do at cell? hmm...

We concluded our 3-week Text mapping lessons with this MEGA 8 PAGES SCROLL taken from the Book of Ruth.

Separated into three groups, we read and analysed our papers...

and presented our answers to the rest of the group!

of course, with really funny moments, like how Emily spelt thrEshing ground as thrAshing ground!

and someone (AS SEEN IN PICTURES BELOW) who tries to look involved and doing work...

Nevertheless! what junhoong concluded at the end of the lesson is true - if textmapping doesn't suit you, just throw it away. There are many other ways of studying the Bible. It's a means to an end!

The main key thing is to learn through the Holy Spirit's revelation to you, as He's our Teacher and Guide! =D

Alive.

Are you ALIVE today?

Ok, I'm not asking if you are breathing...haha.

I'm asking if you feel lousy and SIANZ....or....joyful and POSITIVE, full of the life of God!!

Do not be like the churches you see above: cold, boring and dead.(Btw...their Jesus is still on the cross, OURS IS RISEN AND RULING in POWER! woohoo!!!)

You know, Jesus is very clear on this: the evil one came to steal, kill and destroy. STEAL your liveliness, KILL your joy and DESTROY your hope!

BUT JESUS IS MORE POWERFUL THAN the evil devil.

Ask Him for LIFE! JOY! HOPE! You can do it!

And guess what.

When you and God come together, IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.

Hallelujah! :D
